Legal Aid Clinic and PLV Training Program at Law university

Prayagraj: Arun Bhansali, Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court and Chancellor of the Law University, inaugurated both the Legal Aid Clinic and the three-day PLV Training Programme. 

Justice Manoj Kumar, Senior Judge of the Allahabad High Court and Executive Chairman of the Law University, also attended the event as a Chief Guest. 

The program was graced by the Member Secretary of the State Legal Services Authority and other legal experts.

Volunteers in delivering justice, acknowledging their crucial role in supporting socio-economically disadvantaged and marginalized individuals. He urged students to commit themselves to providing legal aid to the underprivileged and helping them access justice. 

Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta, in his address, reiterated the importance of legal aid and para-legal volunteers in advancing socio-legal justice, calling on everyone to join this noble initiative. Throughout the three-day paralegal training organized by the University, various legal experts will be instructing the students. 

During the ceremony, distinguished guests presented awards to the winners of the Conquerors Intra-Moot Court Competition, which took place on August 21 and 22, 2024. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Deepak Sharma, Convener of the Legal Aid Society at Law University Prayagraj.
