LUCKNOW- UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak inaugurated the Akshaya Patra Foundation and HSBC India’s sustainable kitchen in Lucknow. This modernized, solar-powered facility is designed to strengthen school nutrition delivery under the PM POSHAN programme, utilizing electric vehicles for eco-friendly meal distribution.
Coinciding with HSBC’s first branch launch in Uttar Pradesh, this partnership aims to provide nutritious meals to 32,000 students annually. The facility features a 150-kW solar plant and advanced machinery, setting a new benchmark for sustainable social impact in the region.
