Prayagraj :  In a significant move to bolster India’s agrarian economy, the 22nd Joint Management Committee (JMC) meeting of IFFCO CORDET (Cooperative Rural Development Trust) Phulpur and Kalol convened recently at the Phulpur facility. The high-level assembly focused on scaling innovative agricultural practices and expanding the reach of farmer-centric welfare schemes across the country.

The session was presided over by Valmiki Tripathi, Chairman of the Cordet Phulpur Management Committee. Highlighting the organization's core mission, Tripathi emphasized that IFFCO CORDET remains unwavering in its commitment to sustainable agricultural development and the socio-economic upliftment of the farming community. Joining via digital medium, Jayesh Bhai Vitthal Bhai Radadiya, Chairman of the Cordet Kalol Managing Committee, shared strategic insights on integrating modern technology with traditional farming.

  • The committee conducted a comprehensive review of operational activities across the Phulpur, Amla, Kalol, and Paradeep units. Key highlights of the discussion included:
  • Infrastructure Assessment: Members visited the Phulpur cowshed and various production units to evaluate current capacities.
  • Strategic Planning: The board discussed the implementation of "new-age" schemes designed to double farmer income through diversified cropping and better resource management.
  • Collaborative Growth: Feedback from committee members led to the approval of several grassroots-level initiatives focused on soil health and organic integration.

The meeting saw a gathering of prominent agricultural leaders and experts, including Yatendra Kumar Tewatiya (Secretary, CORDET), Padmashree Ramsharan Verma, and senior officials from IFFCO’s marketing and unit management divisions across Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and New Delhi. The program, moderated by Dr. D.K. Singh, concluded with a roadmap for 2026, prioritizing the "Farmer First" philosophy.

The committee expressed immense satisfaction with CORDET’s current trajectory, noting that the synergy between the Phulpur and Kalol units serves as a blueprint for cooperative success in India.
