Hapur: The dangerous obsession with gaining quick popularity on social media platforms has reached an bizarre and hazardous level in Uttar Pradesh. In the latest incident reported from Hapur district, a young man caused massive disruption on a highly congested public road by walking down the middle of the street while carrying an entire motorcycle on his muscular shoulder. The act was performed solely to record a short video clip for Instagram Reels.

The ten-second video footage, which rapidly went viral across various social media handles, displays the bare-chested youth confidently balancing a heavy commuter motorcycle on his right shoulder. While he casually marches down the active driving lane, several startled car drivers and local motorcyclists are seen slowing down or swerving abruptly to avoid colliding with him. The background music added to the clip indicated that the stunt was pre-planned to project a bravado image online.

"A video surfaced showing a youth severely disrupting traffic flow and endangering public safety by carrying a two-wheeler on a major roadway. Immediate legal action has been initiated to identify and penalize the offender," a senior Hapur traffic police officer stated.

Taking swift cognizance of the widespread video and growing public outrage over structural road safety violations, the Hapur Police department has officially launched a search operation to track down the influencer. Specialized cyber monitoring cells are analyzing the digital footprint of the social media account where the video was originally uploaded to extract location metadata and vehicle registration numbers. Police authorities confirmed that a heavy monetary challan under the Motor Vehicles Act will be issued alongside severe legal charges for creating a public nuisance and endangering human lives.
