AHMEDABAD- In a major policy shift, the Gujarat government has eliminated the requirement for liquor permits for non-residents and foreign nationals visiting GIFT City. This move aims to align the global financial hub with international business standards and enhance its global appeal.
According to the latest notification, visitors can now enjoy alcoholic beverages at designated hotels and restaurants simply by presenting a valid photo ID. Additionally, the government has expanded service areas to include poolside sections, terraces, and private guest rooms.
