Mumbai: Asia's leading music label, T-Series has announced the launch of its new music property, 'Mitti' which will explore and pay tribute to the folk music of Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and various parts of India. This new project started with 'Punjab Ke Folk Vibes', a song for Punjabi folk, which aims to provide a platform for upcoming and budding talents to showcase their remarkable musical talent.
'Mitti: Folk Vibes of Punjab' explores eight popular tracks, "Din Shagna," "Chitta Kukkad," "Madhaniya," "Bajre Da Sitta," "Kangi Vanwaan," "Dama Dum Mast Kalandar." ,” “Bol Mitti Deya Baveya,” and some beautiful classics like “Jugni” have been given a new touch by composer Manan Bharadwaj. Each of these evergreen tunes has been enthusiastically sung by the talented students of T-Series Stageworks Academy.
Expressing his thoughts on the project, T-Series Chairman and Managing Director Bhushan Kumar said, “At T-Series, we have always believed in promoting our cultural heritage through music. An important milestone. It not only pays tribute to the beloved folk songs but also provides a launchpad for young and aspiring talents."
