District Judge, District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police jointly inspected the District Jail
District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan and Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil jointly inspected the District Jail and heard the problems of the prisoners
STATE. The Hon'ble District Judge inspected the Control Room, Legal Aid Clinic, Kitchen Hospital and enquired about the health of the prisoners admitted in the jail.
The women barrack room was inspected and information was taken from the undertrial women prisoners.
On this occasion, during the inspection of Balchakra, information was obtained about the crime and age of the juvenile prisoners by meeting them.
The kitchen was inspected and the quality of the rotis, rice, dal, vegetables being made there was observed. The Hon'ble District Judge enquired about the work of the Jail PLV working in the jail.
After that, the barracks were also inspected and information was taken from the prisoners about the incident.
During the inspection of the district jail, no objectionable items were found with any prisoner.
The jail superintendent informed that today a total of 849 prisoners are lodged in the jail, including 187 convicted prisoners and 662 undertrial prisoners.
During the inspection, the Superintendent District Jail, Mr. Rishabh Dwivedi, Jailer, Mr. Ajay Kumar, Mr. Praveen Ranjan, Medical Officer, Mr. Aftab Ahmed Ansari, Dhruv Narayan, Mrs. Sharda Devi, Deputy Jailer, Mr. Kesari Nandan Pharmacist were present.
