Prayagraj. A meeting was held in the District Panchayat Auditorium under the chairmanship of Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma and District Magistrate Navneet Singh Chahal regarding the preparations for conducting the Bakrid and Ganga Dussehra festival in a safe, peaceful and cordial manner.

In the meeting, Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma said that no new tradition should be started, festivals should be celebrated according to the prescribed tradition.

The remains of sacrifice should not be kept at public places and arrangements for cleanliness should be ensured there and the remains should be disposed of by keeping them at the designated place.

NOC should be taken from the pig breeders so that the pigs are not able to roam here and there.

On this occasion, Additional Police Commissioner N. Kolanchi, DCP Gangapar, Yamunapar and Nagar, DCP Traffic, ADM City Madan Kumar, City Magistrate Vinod Singh, Civil Defence, members of Peace Committee, besides other concerned officials were present.
