Kanpur: The newly elected committee members of the Pastors Association of Uttar Pradesh paid a courtesy visit and honored District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh at his office in Kanpur. The meeting symbolized an expression of gratitude and support for the DM’s continued efforts in promoting clean governance and addressing administrative challenges in the district.

Pastor Sanjay Alvin, the newly elected President, and Pastor Jitendra Singh, the General Secretary of the association, led the delegation. They appreciated the District Magistrate’s proactive stance against corruption and irregularities in various government departments. According to them, under Singh’s leadership, many long-pending civic and departmental works have finally been completed, benefiting the general public significantly.

In a symbolic gesture of respect and appreciation, the association members presented the DM with a shawl and a bouquet. They extended their best wishes for his continued success and commitment to public service.

During the interaction, Pastor Alvin stated, “We’ve observed notable changes in administrative efficiency under the current DM’s leadership. There’s a growing public confidence in governance, and we, as community leaders, recognize and support these positive shifts.”

Pastor Jitendra Singh added, “Good governance directly impacts community well-being, especially for marginalized sections. The DM’s openness to dialogue and fairness in dealing with all communities is commendable.”

Other key members present during the meeting included Pastor Anil Gilbert, Pastor A.B. Singh, Pastor Jagaram Singh, and Pastor Pradeep Rao, among others. The group expressed their willingness to collaborate with local authorities for social welfare initiatives, especially in areas like education, healthcare, and community harmony.

The District Magistrate, in response, thanked the delegation for their visit and assured continued transparency and inclusiveness in the district’s administration. He emphasized the need for joint efforts between civil society and administration to ensure long-term positive outcomes for all citizens.

The meeting concluded on a cordial note, with a shared vision to uphold ethical values, civic responsibility, and cooperation between faith-based organizations and government bodies.
