Sandeep Mohan Praises Sagar Family's Unmatched Excellence in Mythology
Actor Sandeep Mohan praises the Sagar family's unmatched excellence in mythological productions, calling them the "backbone of the genre."

"Whenever I get a call to act in a Sagar production, I am sure that the production, story, research, and execution will be top-notch," he said. He believes that the Sagars' excellence in the mythology genre is unparalleled. "This genre is quite tricky, and the Sagars have totally aced it," he added.
Mohan's connection to the Sagar family goes back to his iconic role as Arjuna in Ramanand Sagar's 'Shri Krishna'. He credits Prem Sagar for setting up the meeting that led to this career-defining role, which still earns him recognition worldwide. Over the years, this professional relationship has evolved into a deep personal bond.
"Prem Sagarji and Shiv Sagarji kept calling me for their productions, and I went on to do 'Mahima Shanidev', 'Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali', 'Vikram Betal', 'Mata Vaishno Devi', and recently 'Kakbhushundi Ramayana', where I essayed the role of Dashrath for them," Mohan recalled. He added that working with them feels like working with his own family, highlighting the mutual rapport and affection they share.
Mohan also took the opportunity to praise the powerful combination of Prem Sagar and his son, Shiv Sagar. He noted that Prem Sagar has a unique ability to blend well-researched tales with devotion in a way that resonates with both scholars and the general public. Meanwhile, he described Shiv Sagar as a "very determined producer," saying that once he makes up his mind, nothing can deter him. According to Mohan, this father-son duo forms a formidable team that continues the Sagar legacy.
