Students show their creativity at 'Space Festival 2025' at Gujarat Science City
Students are showcasing their love for space science at the 'Space Festival 2025' in Gujarat Science City.

The festival has a variety of engaging activities designed specifically for students from classes 8 to 12. A major highlight is the 'Best out of Waste' model-making competition, where participants, either individually or in groups of up to three, use recycled materials to create models related to space. This not only encourages creativity but also teaches students about the importance of sustainability and resourcefulness.
Beyond the competition, students can participate in a Space Quiz to test their knowledge of the cosmos and an 'Origami Through Space' workshop where they can fold paper into rockets, satellites, and other spacecraft. These interactive sessions make learning about science fun and accessible.
The festival is an educational journey that takes visitors through the history of India's space program, from the pioneering work of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, known as the "Father of the Indian Space Programme," to recent missions like Chandrayaan and the upcoming Gaganyaan. It serves as a powerful source of inspiration for students who dream of a career in science and technology.
