LUCKNOW- The Uttar Pradesh government has tabled a substantial supplementary budget of ₹24,496.97 crore for the current financial year. Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna introduced the demands in the State Assembly, emphasizing the need to accelerate capital investments and strengthen rural infrastructure.
Key allocations include over ₹4,874 crore for industrial development and ₹4,571 crore for the power sector. This financial move aims to ensure the seamless execution of flagship schemes while aligning with the state's ambitious goal of reaching a $1 trillion economy.
