UP Advocates Seek Ayushman Coverage and Pensions

LUCKNOW- Pandit Ravindra Sharma, former Lawyers Association President, met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow to push for the Advocate Health Insurance Scheme. The proposal seeks to link legal professionals and their families with the Ayushman Scheme for free medical treatment.
Key demands include a monthly Advocate Pension of ₹15,000 for seniors and incentives for young lawyers. Sharma also advocated for the Advocate Protection Act and increasing the Welfare Fund to ₹10 lakh to ensure the security of the legal fraternity.
