Himachal School Principal Booked for Brutally Assaulting Multiple Students in Class

Shimla :  A principal of a government high school in Himachal Pradesh has been booked by the police for allegedly brutally assaulting several students. The incident, which has sparked massive outrage among parents and locals, took place during school hours earlier this week.

According to police sources, the matter came to light after parents noticed visible injury marks on their children when they returned home from school. Upon being questioned, the traumatized students revealed that the principal had subjected them to severe physical corporate punishment over a minor disciplinary issue.

Following a formal complaint lodged by the aggrieved parents, the local police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused principal under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.

"We have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. Statements of the victims and eyewitnesses are being recorded," a senior police official stated. Meanwhile, the state education department has also taken cognitive notice of the incident, ordering an internal inquiry. Authorities have assured that strict departmental action, including potential suspension, will be initiated if the allegations stand verified. Local child rights activists have strongly condemned the act, demanding immediate suspension and arrest of the accused administrator to ensure student safety.
