PCS Day Celebrated by ICSI Kanpur with Workshop on MCA V3 Transition
ICSI Kanpur celebrated PCS Day with a workshop on MCA V3, highlighting tech-driven compliance and corporate governance.

Kanpur: The Kanpur Chapter of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) celebrated PCS Day by organizing a workshop at its Gumti Plaza office on the theme “Navigating MCA 3 Transition: Expanding Horizons and Leveraging Opportunities.”
The session featured CS Gopesh Sahu as the keynote speaker, who shed light on the evolving compliance landscape and the critical shift from MCA V2 to V3.
CS Reena Jhakhodia, Chairperson of the PCS Sub-Committee, welcomed all the dignitaries and explained that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is transitioning from 42 to 23 modules as part of a broader move to improve online services for companies and stakeholders. She extended warm wishes on PCS Day to all members.
CS Esha Kapoor, Secretary of the Kanpur Chapter, highlighted the benefits of the V3 portal, describing it as a modern, user-friendly interface. She stated that once the migration is complete, the V2 portal will be discontinued. The new platform aims to simplify e-filing, enable efficient data management, and foster improved compliance practices.
The workshop emphasized that MCA V3 represents a technological leap forward and aligns with India’s efforts to strengthen corporate governance and legal transparency. The session concluded with reflections on how digital transitions are reshaping the compliance ecosystem.
