29th Installation Ceremony celebrated by Rotaract Club of Kanpur
The Rotaract Club of Kanpur Star held its 29th Installation Ceremony, inducting a new team and charting a course for social change.

The event commenced with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by the chief guest, Major Donor Rotarian Sushil Agarwal (former President of Rotary Club), alongside special guests Rajeev Agarwal (outgoing President of Rotary Club of Kanpur), Deepak Agarwal (Chief Patron of Radhe Radhe Rasoi), Chief Advisor Yogendra Singh, and Rotaract Committee Chairman Gulnawaz Lari.
In a symbolic transfer of power, outgoing President Devansh Bhatia handed over the collar to the new President, Chandralekha Prajapati. Simultaneously, the outgoing Secretary passed on the responsibilities to the new Secretary, Deepti Dixit Mishra. The ceremony was expertly hosted by former President Anjali Srivastava, who kept the proceedings engaging and seamless.
In his address, Chief Guest Sushil Agarwal emphasized his commitment to elevating the Rotaract movement. "I am dedicated to taking the Rotaract movement to new heights, and any possible support will be provided," he stated, encouraging the young members to actively participate in social service initiatives.
Special guest Rajeev Agarwal also extended his support, urging the club to undertake as many social welfare projects as possible. He assured the new team that the Rotary Club would offer all necessary assistance for their initiatives.
The new President, Chandralekha Prajapati, laid out an ambitious vision for her tenure. She announced plans for a large-scale tree-plantation drive aligned with the "Green Kanpur, Clean Kanpur" theme. Additionally, she committed to launching projects focused on women empowerment and education, promising a term dedicated to impactful community work.
Outgoing President Devansh Bhatia expressed his gratitude to the club members for their unwavering support during his term. He honored the members for their significant contributions, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. The evening also included a special moment to celebrate Rotarian Deepak Agarwal's birthday, adding a personal and joyful touch to the formal event.
The ceremony saw the presence of numerous notable members, including Gaurav Tiwari, Dhanpat Jain, Jimmy Bhatia, Rahul Gupta, Vishal Nigam, Sumit Kaushal, Rishabh Tripathi, Harishankar, Aryan Rastogi, Shilpi Sonkar, and Harpal Singh, among others. The event not only marked a change in leadership but also reinforced the club's commitment to creating a positive impact on the community. It set the stage for a promising year filled with service-oriented projects and a continued dedication to the principles of Rotaract.
