Celebrating the spirit of childhood: Jashn-e-Bachpan 2025 continues with Day 2 of events at Study Hall Junior

Lucknow :The second day of Jashn-e-Bachpan 2025 at Study Hall Junior brought together children from 21 schools across Lucknow and Varanasi for another vibrant round of interschool events. Over 1,000 children are participating in this three-day festival, which celebrates childhood through creativity, imagination, and collaboration.

Day 2 featured a wide variety of competitions across academics, arts, language, and sports. For the youngest participants, सोचो और बोलो and एक से अनेक gave children the opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas. Class 2 students tested their speed and problem-solving in Solve and Dash and played with words in शब्दों की अंताक्षरी. In Verse-e Style, children recited poetry with expression and rhythm.

For Class 3, events like Crossword and देखो, सोचो और बोलो encouraged logical thinking and communication, while Fold to Mould explored creativity through paper folding. Class 4 students took part in Aim to Gain, a physical challenge requiring strategy and skill, while older participants competed in Number Ninja, a mathematics-based event. On stage, children came together for A Band That Sings, filling the auditorium with music, and on the field, they shone in Glide and Shine, a skating relay.

Speaking about the event, Ms. Bani Malhotra, Headmistress of Study Hall Junior, said, “Every time children step onto the stage or into an event, they show us the power of curiosity and confidence. Jashn-e-Bachpan is about giving them a safe and joyful space to try, to learn, and to celebrate their uniqueness.”

Held once every two years, Jashn-e-Bachpan has become one of the most anticipated interschool festivals at Study Hall, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
