Ambedkar Nagar: NTPC Tanda, a unit of India's largest integrated power producer, NTPC Limited, recorded 219.94 billion units (BU) of electricity generation in the first half of FY2024-25. This represents a 3.91% increase compared to the same period last year. NTPC’s coal-based stations achieved a plant load factor (PLF) of 76.3% between April and September 2024. With rising demand for electricity across the nation, NTPC continues to scale its production, ensuring a reliable power supply to meet approximately one-fourth of the country's electricity needs.

The company's diverse portfolio includes thermal, hydro, solar (both ground-mounted and floating solar), and wind energy plants, ensuring reliable and affordable electricity.
