MUMBAI-The inaugural Natya Ratan 2025, a multilingual international theatre festival founded by Abhishek Narayan, launched today at Mumbai’s Yashwant Natya Mandir. The four-day event opened with a compelling performance by Makrand Deshpande, honoring the legacy of the late legendary industrialist Ratan Tata.
Running until December 28, the festival features 12 curated plays in Hindi, Marathi, and English. Supported by Caravan Theatre Group, the grand finale will coincide with Ratan Tata’s birth anniversary, celebrating his values of excellence and humility through diverse, thought-provoking performances.
