Kerala Express: Illegal Meat Supply in Disabled Coach Sparks Uproar"

Mathura : A sensational case of meat supply on the 12626 Kerala Express, running from New Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram, has sparked outrage among Hindutva passengers. A viral video shows a man dressed in white carrying several packets of meat in the disabled compartment of the Kerala Superfast Express. Sources said that some Hindutva daily passengers returning from New Delhi on the Kerala Express received information that a man who regularly supplies meat was sitting in the disabled compartment of the Kerala Express. When the passengers went inside and investigated, they found a young man wearing a white shirt carrying several packets.

When the packets were opened, they discovered meat. When passengers protested, the young man got up and threw the packets of meat. When the train slowed near Mathura, he pushed the passengers and jumped off the train and fled. The local railway administration was informed of the incident, causing a stir.  In this context, when RPF Commandant Agra Raj Mohan was talked to, he told that when investigation was done on the information, neither the meat packets were recovered nor the person supplying the meat was found, but the department is investigating it in depth and strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.

North Central Railway Agra Division's Public Relation Officer Prashasti Srivastava told The Immpressive Times correspondent that “A joint check was done by RPF and GRP at Mathura Junction railway station in the said coach of Kerala Express immediately after receiving the complaint. The team couldn’t find any such item, or the passengers shown in the video", She added.
