Prayagraj :  The ancient Barkhandi fair, meticulously organized by the Shri Barkhandi Mahadev Temple Fair Committee, recently drew a large gathering to Saidpur Karehada. The event was graced by the presence of Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, who visited the fair and paid his respects at the revered Barkhandi Mahadev temple. Upon his arrival, Mayor Kesarwani was warmly welcomed by the Fair Committee Chairman, Kamlesh Kumar Pappu.

Addressing the attendees, Mayor Kesarwani emphasized the profound significance of the traditional gathering. He declared that the ancient Barkhandi fair is a vibrant "manifestation of collective unity" that actively promotes Sanatan culture.

"Our Teej festivals and fairs are a symbol of social harmony which has been given to us by our ancestors," Kesarwani stated. He stressed the imperative need for the community to "work together to conduct our festivals with great enthusiasm," ensuring the preservation of these cultural legacies.

The Mayor's assertion that "Our festivals and fairs are a manifestation of India's collective power" resonated strongly with the crowd, highlighting the role of these traditions in binding the community together.

The successful organization of the event and the Mayor's visit were supported by numerous local figures, including area Panchayat members Kamlesh Mishra, Rajesh Kesarwani, Sardari Pal, Ashok Pal, Bajrang Singh, Kamlesh Pal, Gyan Babu Kesarwani, Chandram Tiwari, and Guddu Pal. Their presence underscored the community-wide effort to uphold and celebrate the region's rich cultural heritage.
