Shimla : In a decisive move to transform the hill state into a thriving hub for technological entrepreneurship, the Himachal Pradesh government has officially unveiled its comprehensive 'Technical Institute Innovation Policy.' This forward-thinking framework is specifically designed to seed, nurture, and accelerate grassroots startup ecosystems directly within engineering colleges, polytechnics, and industrial training institutes across the state.

The policy introduces a structured, multi-tiered support mechanism tailored to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial market viability.
