Prayagraj DM Inspects Census 2027 Training Program, Directs Supervisors to Ensure Error-Free Data Collection

Prayagraj : In preparation for the second phase (Population Enumeration) of Census 2027, District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma conducted an inspection of the training session organized for enumerators and supervisors at Bishop Johnson School, Katra, on Wednesday. Interacting directly with the trainees, the District Magistrate reviewed the curriculum and issued key directives to ensure accurate, timely, and seamless execution of the national exercise.

During his visit, DM Verma urged supervisors and enumerators to grasp every procedural detail thoroughly during training. He advised them to clarify all technical doubts immediately with field trainers to prevent operational glitches or data recording errors during field execution.

DM Verma further instructed field trainers across all tehsils, municipal zones, and town councils to deliver comprehensive, practical instruction. Additionally, he emphasized promoting the self-enumeration facility, urging officers to motivate maximum residents to participate online independently.

• Self-Enumeration: November 16 to November 30, 2026
• Population Enumeration (Field Drive): December 1, 2026 to January 4, 2027
• Revision Round: January 5 to January 9, 2027

To ensure coverage across the district, Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Vineeta Singh inspected ongoing training drives in Koraon and Meja tehsils, reviewing technical readiness and encouraging field staff. Key administrative officials were present throughout the session.
