Skoda Auto India has announced prices for the refreshed Slavia sedan, featuring updated styling, smarter technology, a new eight-speed automatic gearbox and six variants, with deliveries starting next week across the country.
Lucknow: Skoda Auto India has announced the prices of the updated Slavia sedan, with customer deliveries set to begin next week. The refreshed model builds on the car's European design identity while adding new technology, improved comfort and a stronger safety package.
Built on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform, the new Slavia is offered in six variants at launch: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. Buyers can choose between two petrol engines. The 1.0 TSI unit is paired with either a six-speed manual or an all-new eight-speed torque converter automatic, which Skoda says is the first of its kind in the segment. The more powerful 1.5 TSI engine comes with a seven-speed DSG gearbox and rear disc brakes for improved braking confidence.
Visually, the sedan gets a series of updates. These include new LED headlamps and tail lamps, sequential rear turn indicators, a horizontal chrome strip on the grille, revised front and rear sections and freshly designed alloy wheels. The Monte Carlo variant stands out with exclusive badging, red accents and blacked-out exterior elements. Two new shades, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, join the eight existing colours. Cars in Cappuccino Beige will be delivered from December 2026.
Speaking on the launch, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Skoda Auto India, said the Slavia has always combined what buyers value most in a sedan: timeless design, an engaging drive, comfort, safety and sound engineering.
He said the new model carries these strengths further with more striking styling, smart technology and the new automatic gearbox. According to him, the sedan truly lives up to its "everything" positioning, offering a complete sedan experience without compromises. He described it as aspirational yet accessible, enjoyable to drive yet comfortable, and designed for a new generation of customers.
With a choice of engines, transmissions and trims, the updated Slavia aims to appeal to a broad set of buyers, from those seeking an affordable entry point to enthusiasts wanting a sportier character. Customers can contact their nearest Skoda dealership for variant-wise prices, bookings and test drives.
