Congress Leads Voter Revision Drive in Prayagraj Villages

Prayagraj : Under the decisive leadership of the Congress Party's Gangapar District President, Ashfaq Ahmed, party leaders and dedicated workers launched an intensive voter revision campaign across several villages in Prayagraj, including Bagai Kala, Bagai Khurd, and Chandauha. The initiative aims to ensure the accuracy and fairness of the electoral rolls and to pre-emptively address any potential irregularities in the process.

Addressing villagers, Ahmed stressed the crucial need for vigilance and proactive participation in the Jan Jagran Abhiyan (Public Awareness Campaign). He specifically urged residents to immediately contact their respective Booth Level Officers (BLO) to obtain and correctly fill the necessary revision forms.

"All of you should contact the BLO and fill the necessary papers, which are available, correctly and submit the form within 11th December 2025," Ahmed stated emphatically.

He issued a stark warning, asserting that if the populace remains unaware and inactive, the "anti-people" BJP government could exploit the situation, leading to adverse consequences for the voters. Ahmed also promised the party's full backing, offering an alternate contact, Zainul Abdin, in Prayagraj for those who fail to secure support from their BLOs.

The District President insisted that citizens must act with full responsibility and ensure their completed forms are submitted well before the December 11th deadline, thereby carrying the campaign forward to every eligible person. "Congress Party will stand with you wherever needed for cooperation with full devotion and dedication," he assured.

The galvanizing program, meticulously conducted by Assembly in-charge Devraj Upadhyay, saw the presence of numerous key figures, including Sangam Lal Gupta, Shyam Dhuria, Satish Chandra, Rajesh Soni, and others, underscoring the party's serious commitment to the democratic process in the region.
