Hemant and Rahnuma Clinch Double Gold at Inter-Collegiate Athletics Meet

Prayagraj : The tracks at Iswar Saran Post Graduate (ISPG) College buzzed with energy on Tuesday as the Inter-Collegiate Athletics Competition saw standout performances from local athletes. Hemant Yadav and Rahnuma Ansari emerged as the stars of the meet, both securing double victories in their respective categories.

In the men’s division, Hemant Yadav of Iswar Saran Degree College (ISDC) showcased remarkable speed, clinching the top spot in both the 100m and 200m sprints. On the women’s side, Rahnuma Ansari from CMP Degree College matched this feat by securing first place in both the 100m and 400m races.

The event featured several other notable winners:

• Men’s 400m: Shubham Pandey (CMP College)
• Men’s 800m: Ajay Kumar (ISDC)
• Men’s Long Jump: Tunna Kumar (ISDC)
• Women’s 200m: Khushi Sahu (ISPG College)
• Women’s 800m: Sakshi Tripathi (SS Khanna Degree College)
• Women’s Long Jump: Astha Yadav (CMP College)

Ceremony and Sportsmanship
The competition was inaugurated by the Principal of ISPG College, Prof. Anand Shankar Singh, who served as the Chief Guest. Following the high-octane events, a prize distribution ceremony was held, led by Chief Proctor Prof. Man Singh, alongside Dr. Harsh Mani Singh, Dr. Arvind Mishra, Dr. Arvind Dev, and Dr. Mahesh Prasad Rai.

The program was smoothly coordinated by Sports Officer Dr. Ekatm Dev, with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship among the participating constituent colleges.
