Prayagraj :  In a strategic leadership move, Dr. Prakash Chandra Tripathi has officially assumed charge as the Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer (Dy. CVO) of North Central Railway (NCR). A seasoned officer from the 2009 batch of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), Dr. Tripathi brings a wealth of operational expertise and administrative rigor to the vigilance department.

Dr. Tripathi’s career is marked by a series of high-impact roles across both the South East Central Railway (SECR) and North Central Railway. Before his current appointment, he served as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) for SECR, where he was instrumental in managing the zone’s public image and corporate communications.

His operational backbone was forged during his tenure as the Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Sr. DOM) in the high-loading Bilaspur and Raipur Divisions. These roles required a precise balance of logistics management and safety protocols, skills that are expected to be invaluable in his new oversight role.

A highly decorated officer, Dr. Tripathi is a recipient of the Railway Minister’s Award, the most prestigious accolade in the Indian Railways network, recognizing his commitment to service excellence. Furthermore, his technical acumen is backed by international exposure, having completed specialized training in High-Speed Railway Technology in Japan.
