CM Yogi Adityanath Hosts High-Level Singapore Delegation in Lucknow; UP Signs Key MoUs in Agriculture and Waste Management

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hosted a 14-member high-level business delegation of top Singaporean industrialists and investors in Lucknow, marking a significant milestone in Uttar Pradesh's ongoing effort to drive industrial growth and global partnerships.

During the meeting, key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were exchanged with leading global corporations in the fields of agriculture, food processing, and sustainable waste management to catalyze new investments across the state.

Led by the Singapore Business Federation, the delegation expressed strong interest in expanding investment footprints into strategic sectors including multi-modal logistics, semiconductors, data centers, green energy, urban planning, and hospitality.

Reflecting on prior engagements, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath noted that during his official visit to Singapore in February 2026, investment agreements worth approximately ₹60,000 crore were mutually agreed upon. He reassured the delegation that Uttar Pradesh remains fully committed to its core promise of "Safety, Stability, and Speed" delivered during the Singapore roadshow.

"Our goal now is to translate these investment proposals into ground reality and commence operational production," CM Yogi stated. He assured investors that the Uttar Pradesh government will stand by them at every stage—from MoU signing to manufacturing setup and groundbreaking ceremonies—offering seamless administrative support and hassle-free clearances.

To deliver tangible outcomes under the UP-Singapore partnership, the Chief Minister highlighted six strategic priority sectors:

  • Multimodal Logistics & Warehousing: Capitalizing on Jewar airport, state expressways, and dedicated freight corridors.
  • High-Tech Manufacturing: Establishing semiconductor fab units and advanced electronics production.
  • Digital Infrastructure: Expanding data centers, cloud services, and artificial intelligence frameworks.
  • Clean Technology: Scaling up solar power, green hydrogen, modern waste management, and water recycling systems.

The visit underscores Uttar Pradesh's rising global profile as an attractive investment destination backed by proactive governance and robust infrastructure.
