New Delhi. India stressed at the UN New Delhi's commitment to the two-state solution, which includes the ability for the Palestinian people to live freely in an independent country within secure borders while taking into account Israel's security needs.

India's Permanent Representative to the UN Ruchira Kamboj said during a meeting that India is committed to supporting a two-state solution where the Palestinian people live freely in an independent country within secure borders, taking into account Israel's security needs. Can live.

A video of Kamboj's address has also been shared on the official 'X' account of the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations, New York, where he has also called for reconsidering Palestine's application to the UN.

Actually, Palestine had recently applied for membership of the United Nations, which could not be passed due to America's veto. Clarifying India's stand on this issue, Kamboj said that keeping in mind India's long-term position, we hope that this will be reconsidered at the appropriate time and Palestine's effort to become a member of the UN will be supported.

He said that India has repeatedly stressed that a permanent solution to the two-state solution should be found through direct and meaningful talks between the two sides, so that peace can be established. Kamboj also said that India has taken note of the intention of the UN General Assembly to convene a plenary meeting of the 10th Emergency Special Session on this issue and will actively participate in it. He also reiterated India's commitment to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Palestine.
