IFFCO's Nano Fertilizers Pave the Way for Sustainable and Affordable Farming
IFFCO's new-age nano fertilizers are set to revolutionize Indian agriculture, offering a sustainable and cost-effective solution for farmers.

Prayagraj: A one-day farmer training program, organized by the Motilal Nehru Farmers Training Institute, Cordett, IFFCO Phulpur, highlighted the immense potential of nano fertilizers in transforming Indian agriculture. The event, held in the village of Umari Mai Tatihara, focused on educating farmers about the benefits of adopting these modern farming inputs.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Dr. D.K. Singh, Principal of the institute, emphasized that IFFCO's nano fertilizers are a significant step towards achieving affordable and sustainable farming practices. He urged the farmers to embrace these innovative products, which he believes are bringing about a positive revolution in the agricultural sector.
During his address, Dr. Singh introduced the farmers to the various activities of Cordett and IFFCO. He provided a detailed explanation of how to use products like Nano Urea Plus, Nano Copper, Nano Zinc, and Nano DAP for cultivating paddy crops. He explained that these nano products are highly efficient and reduce the need for traditional granular fertilizers, leading to significant cost savings for the farmers.
The session also included progressive farmers like Harishchandra Patel, Ravi Bind, and Brijmohan Patel, who shared their first-hand experiences with IFFCO's nano fertilizers. They testified that by using these modern fertilizers, they have successfully halved their use of conventional fertilizers, a claim that was met with keen interest from the audience.
Mukesh Tiwari, the program in-charge, also spoke at the event, stressing the importance of soil testing for maintaining healthy and sustainable farming practices. He also provided valuable information on the use of bio-fertilizers and bio-decomposers in agriculture.
To provide a practical understanding, Dr. Singh led a field visit where participants were shown live trials of nano fertilizers and bio-fertilizers on paddy crops. Farmers also had the opportunity to tour the various units of the Cordett institute.
The program concluded with a Q&A session where Dr. Singh addressed the farmers' queries, providing clear and concise solutions to their problems. The event was well-attended by prominent local figures, including Village Pradhan Mrs. Indrapati Yadav, Pradeep Yadav, Ramchandra Patel, Rishi Ram Yadav, and senior IFFCO officials like Mrs. Savita Shukla.
This training program marks a significant step in IFFCO's efforts to promote modern and sustainable farming practices, empowering farmers with the knowledge and tools they need to improve their yields and livelihoods.
