IFFCO Phulpur Celebrates Vishwakarma Immersion with Grandeur

Prayagraj : According to Anand Mail Bureau, IFFCO Phulpur plant celebrated the immersion of Lord Vishwakarma with great reverence and fanfare at its central workshop (Mechanical). The immersion took place in a pond located in Ghiyanagar, IFFCO. This event was attended by a host of dignitaries and employees, showcasing the collective spirit of the organization.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of senior executive director (unit head) Sanjay Kudesia, executive director (technical) Sanjay Vaishya, and general managers including Sanjay Bhandari, P.K. Singh, Dr. Anita Mishra, P.K. Patel, and Ratnesh Kumar. Other notable attendees included joint general managers Arun Kumar, Aravendra Kumar, S.K. Singh, A.K. Gupta, P.K. Verma, Dr. Satya Prakash, R.P. Yadav, P.K. Tripathi, Sandeep Goyal, and human resources department head Shambhu Shekhar.

The event also saw the participation of IFFCO Officers Association president Anurag Tiwari and general secretary Swayam Prakash, along with IFFCO Employees Union president Pankaj Pandey and general secretary Vijay Kumar Yadav. A large number of IFFCO employees gathered to witness this auspicious occasion, reflecting the unity and cultural values of the organization.

The immersion ceremony commenced with traditional rituals, paying homage to Lord Vishwakarma, who is revered as the divine architect and craftsman in Hindu mythology. Employees participated in various cultural activities and recited prayers, creating a festive atmosphere. Following the rituals, the idol of Lord Vishwakarma was carried in a procession to the pond, accompanied by chants and songs, demonstrating the enthusiasm of the IFFCO family. As the idol was immersed, employees expressed their hopes for prosperity and success in their endeavors, praying for blessings from the divine architect.
