Vancouver (Canada) : VANCOUVER – Diljit Dosanjh’s high-energy ‘Aura-2026’ world tour hit a turbulent note in Vancouver after a group of pro-Khalistan protesters breached the venue, leading to brief chaos and physical altercations with security personnel.

The incident unfolded mid-performance when a faction of individuals, carrying Khalistan flags, stormed the arena. The group began shouting provocative slogans against India and leveled accusations against Dosanjh, claiming the global superstar has clandestine links to the BJP and RSS.

Security Clashes and Alleged Links
As private security teams moved in to intercept the agitators and restore order, the situation escalated into a physical scuffle. Witnesses described a tense atmosphere as the music was momentarily overshadowed by the shouting match.

Sources have identified two individuals, Pawandeep Singh Bassi and Mandeep Singh Ravi, as key figures behind the disruption. Both are allegedly affiliated with Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), an organization officially banned in India and led by the extremist figure Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

Ongoing Threats
Despite the initial panic, local authorities and venue security were able to contain the protesters and clear the area, allowing the concert to resume. However, the peace may be short-lived; reports suggest that SFJ-aligned groups have issued warnings of continued demonstrations at Dosanjh’s upcoming tour dates.
