First Innings: A Solid Foundation
Electing to bat first at the AS Hanumanganj Club ground, Bhanu Pratap Singh Club posted a formidable total of 197/9 in their allotted 30 overs. The innings was anchored by Prateek Yadav, who played a crucial knock of 43, well-supported by Prateek Singh’s 38. Contributions from Animesh Yadav (21) and Shreyansh Mishra (17) helped push the score close to the 200-mark despite a disciplined bowling effort from Triveni.
Triveni Club B’s bowling attack saw Priyanshu, Prince, and Prince Kumar pick up two wickets each, while Akash and Manas Yadav claimed one apiece.
Second Innings: The Bowling Masterclass
In pursuit of 198, Triveni Club B struggled to build momentum against a sharp bowling unit. While Gokul Mishra (39), Manas Yadav (28), and an unbeaten Prince (27*) offered resistance, the team was eventually bundled out for 152 runs in 26.2 overs.
The collapse was triggered by a brilliant spell from Golu Pal, who tore through the middle order to finish with figures of 4/26. He was expertly supported by Ritesh, who claimed 3/30. Raj and Arnav Singh chipped in with one wicket each to seal the victory. Ritesh was adjudged the Man of the Match for his impactful dual contribution with both bat and ball.
