Amity International School Lucknow Celebrates 'Literary Landscapes' in a Grand Annual Extravaganza

Lucknow: Amity International School, Viraj Khand-5, Gomti Nagar, transformed into a vibrant canvas of world literature as it celebrated its Annual Function on December 17, 2025. Centered around the evocative theme 'Literary Landscapes,' the event offered students and guests an immersive journey through the timeless realms of global storytelling and poetry.

The grand celebration was held under the visionary guidance of the school's Founder President, Dr. Amita Chauhan, and the strategic leadership of Principal Mrs. Rachna Mishra. The occasion was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Aarti Chopra, Principal of Amity Gurugram 46, and Dr. Anil Vashisht, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Amity University, Lucknow, who lauded the institution’s commitment to excellence.

A Symphony of Literature and Art The evening commenced with the presentation of the Annual Report by Principal Rachna Mishra, highlighting the school’s academic milestones and progressive achievements over the past year. The stage then came alive as students portrayed iconic literary figures through a seamless blend of dance, drama, and music. From the profound philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore and the dramatic intensity of William Shakespeare to the magical imagination of J.K. Rowling, the performances were a testament to the students' creativity and artistic depth.

Fostering Holistic Growth Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Mishra emphasized that participation in cultural activities is indispensable for the holistic development of a child's personality. She remarked that nurturing a love for books and literature is a collective responsibility, acknowledging the invaluable contribution of both teachers and parents in this endeavor.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the parents and guardians, whose presence and support turned the cultural evening into a resounding success. The 'Literary Landscapes' theme successfully bridged the gap between classic literature and modern education, leaving the audience spellbound.
