Diwali Brightens for 42 Underprivileged Kids as Kanpur Groups Gift New Party Wear

In a heartwarming act of social responsibility and community welfare, festive cheer came early for 42 underprivileged children in Kanpur ahead of Diwali.

The Kanpur Super and the Uttar Pradesh Garments Manufacturing Traders Association jointly organized a special clothing distribution drive at the Wednesday Shiksha Niketan ground. As part of this benevolent initiative, brand-new party wear outfits were gifted to children from a local Sanskarshala—a school dedicated to educating children who previously lacked access to formal schooling.

The primary objective of the event was to bring smiles to the faces of needy children and make them feel an integral part of the grand Diwali celebrations. The atmosphere at the venue was filled with joy and enthusiasm as the young children received their new clothes, their faces lighting up with bright smiles. Through this gesture, the organizers aimed to promote empathy, mutual support, and civic responsibility across society.

Prominent organizers and mentors of the Sanskarshala were present during the event, including Manager Shri Prakash Srivastava, Secretary Arun Tripathi, Patron Suresh Tiwari, and teacher Gita Shukla. Addressing the gathering, they highlighted the importance of promoting education among marginalized youth and emphasized collective efforts to build a brighter, secure future for these children.

Closing the event, the organizers issued a heartfelt appeal to the privileged sections of society, encouraging citizens to step forward and support underprivileged children. They stressed that beyond festive gifts, sustained community support is crucial in providing underprivileged youth with access to quality education, festive joy, and equal life opportunities.
