Rotarian Prabhas Jaiswal Takes Over as President of Rotary Club of Lucknow

The event saw enthusiastic participation from Past District Governors (PDGs), presidents and secretaries of various Rotary clubs, and numerous members of the extended Rotary family. President Jaiswal Announces Five Key Service Projects:
In his first address as president, Rotarian Prabhas Jaiswal unveiled five major service initiatives for the year:
Donation of a bicycle to a needy student to ease commuting challenges.
Full-year school fee sponsorship for a financially underprivileged child.
Installation of a three-seater bench made from 200 kg of recycled plastic, promoting sustainability and comfort.
Providing a biometric machine to an NGO or institution to improve attendance and transparency.
Establishment of hanging libraries (innovative reading spaces) for children at two different locations.
Jaiswal highlighted that these efforts go beyond mere charity—they aim to bring lasting and meaningful change in the community.

The ceremony also included the oath-taking of the club’s newly elected executive team. A series of cultural performances, recognition of past presidents, and a visual presentation of past service achievements captivated the audience.
The evening concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a warm fellowship dinner, leaving everyone inspired and united in the spirit of service.
Rotary Club of Lucknow Rajdhani continues to strengthen its role in civic engagement and social responsibility, and under the leadership of Prabhas Jaiswal, the club is expected to scale new heights in 2025-26.
