Inter school debate competition organized on Munshi Kali Prasad Jayanti week in KP Inter College

Prayagraj : To commemorate the birth anniversary week celebrations of Sunam-Dhanya Munshi Kali Prasad founder of alma mater Kayastha Pathshala a grand inter-school debate competition and NCC Day celebration was organized at KP Inter College Prayagraj today.

The program started with the garlanding of the statue of Munshi Kali Prasad by the acting president of Kayastha Pathshala and former mayor Chaudhary Jitendra Nath Singh. The chief guest was welcomed by the quarter guard of honour. He inspected the flag area and praised the theme created by the NCC cadets. On this occasion, NCC cadets Shikha Dhuria, Nishi Balmiki and Vandana Bharatiya presented a captivating folk dance, which enthralled the audience.

​SUO Deepak Base UO Nagendra Sharma, Krishna Kumar, Aditya Nishad, Shagun Pal, Ayan Khan, Priyanshu Dwivedi, Ankesh Verma, Mohammad Aman participated in the quarter guard, while commanding was done by Khushi Prajapati and Rishabh Dev Upadhyay.

The chief guest formally inaugurated the debate competition by garlanding the statue of Mother Saraswati and lighting the lamp. In his address, he said that Munshi Kali Prasad may have lived a short life, but his dedication in the field of education and social service is still a source of inspiration for all of usThe theme of the competition was character building or career building, the basic objective of education, in which students from a total of 17 schools participated enthusiastically. The jury included Dr. Devi Prasad Singh (Assistant Professor, Allahabad University) and DrSuman Yadav (Assistant Officer, Allahabad Degree College) played the role.

First place Anubhav Mishra (Class 12) Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee Inter College, Second place Vishnu Kumar (Class 12) KP Inter College, Prayagraj, Third place Aditya Khare (Class 11) Tagore Public School,

Consolation Prize Mansi Rai (Class 11) Tagore Public School, Jayashree Singh (Class 12) Sardar Patel Inter College, Sikro. Cash prizes of ₹ 3000, ₹ 2000 and ₹ 1000 were given to the winners, while cash prizes of ₹ 500-₹ 500 were distributed for consolation prizes. Certificates were awarded to all the participants. The presence of teachers from various schools, participating students and KP Inter College family was notable in the function.
