Zonal Sports & Cultural Extravaganza Ignites Team Spirit in Lucknow

Lucknow : The spirit of sportsmanship and artistic brilliance took center stage as the Zonal Office organized a grand two-day mega event, "Khel-Utsav" and "Taal Tarang 2026," on February 14th and 15th.

The sporting action unfolded at the iconic Ekana Stadium, inaugurated by Zonal Manager Mr. Mrityunjay. The event witnessed a massive gathering of nearly 20,000 staff members representing 23 circles across four zones: Dehradun, Lucknow, Patna, and Varanasi. Simultaneously, the cultural fest "Taal Tarang 2026" was graced by Mrs. Babita, President of the Prerna Group, at Hotel Mercure.

Highlights of the Meet : Sports: Competitions included Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, and Athletics (100m, 1500m, Shot Put, and Long Jump).

Culture: A vibrant display of Group Song/Dance, Solo performances, Classical singing, and Instrumental music.

The Outcome: From the fierce regional talent, 55 winners have been selected to represent the zone at the grand finale at the Head Office in New Delhi.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Mrityunjay emphasized that sports and music are vital for mental well-being and productivity. "Life is a stage where we all play different roles. Much like music, sports foster a positive culture and team synergy, helping us achieve our professional goals with renewed energy," he remarked.

The ceremony concluded with Mr. Mrityunjay and Mrs. Babita honoring the top three achievers with medals and trophies. The event was seamlessly coordinated by AGM Mr. Manish Jain and his team, including Mr. Rishi Duggal and Mr. Avdhesh Verma. Deputy Zonal Manager Mr. Kazmi delivered the vote of thanks, celebrating the event's massive success.
