Pratham Mishra Powerhouse Performance Propels Chief Justice SK Verma XI to Massive Victory

Prayagraj :  In a completely one-sided encounter of the ongoing Sangam Premier League, held for the Anand Shukla and Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Chief Justice SK Verma XI secured a dominant 161-run win over Justice AN Verma XI, thanks to a sensational all-round display by Pratham Mishra.

A Batting Blitz at KP College
Batting first at the KP College ground on Sunday, Chief Justice SK Verma XI set a formidable target. The star of the innings was undoubtedly Pratham Mishra, who played a blistering knock of 80 runs off just 78 balls, decorated with eight boundaries and a towering six.

Mishra was ably supported by Aditya Tiwari (41), Pramod Yadav (32), and Anurag Yadav (28), guiding the team to a solid total of 228/7 in their allotted 40 overs. Despite the bowling efforts of Abhinav Tiwari and Vartul Shukla, who claimed two wickets each, the Justice AN Verma XI bowlers struggled to contain the scoring rate.

The Collapse: Justice AN Verma XI Crumbles
The run chase for Justice AN Verma XI proved to be a nightmare. The team was bundled out for a meager 67 runs in just 16.4 overs. Only Shaizan Ahmed (27) and Akash Kumar (12) managed to reach double figures as the batting lineup collapsed under relentless pressure.

The destruction was led by Sandeep Patel (3/14) and Aditya Yadav (3/18), while Kushagra Tripathi chipped in with a clinical 2/1. Pratham Mishra capped off his brilliant day by also claiming a wicket.
