Pratapgarh:In a recent review meeting held at the Vikas Bhavan auditorium, District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan assessed the progress of projects exceeding ₹50 lakh. Among these, the ITI Jaraiari project was completed and directed for handover. However, the progress of construction at various residential and non-residential buildings, including Leelapur and Dilippur, was found to be slow. The DM emphasized that construction work at ITI Patti, police barracks, and investigation rooms should be expedited.

In reviewing the Jal Jeevan Mission, it was reported that six villages had received piped drinking water. The DM instructed officials to verify water delivery at beneficiary homes and submit a report within a week. The meeting also addressed issues in payment to contractors for Public Works Department projects. The District Magistrate expressed displeasure over the lack of clarity from Executive Engineer Brajmohan Singh and issued orders for action against him.
