The district-level athletics competition in Pratapgarh showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship among participants.
Pratapgarh: The district-level athletics competition, organized by the Directorate of Sports, Uttar Pradesh, and the District Sports Office in Pratapgarh, concluded successfully. The event featured a series of thrilling races and field events, with boys' 100 meters won by Ram Vishal Saroj, followed by Devang Saroj and Shivam Saroj. Other standout performances included Shailesh, who claimed first place in the 200 meters, and Sachin Yadav, who excelled in long jump.
In the girls' events, Anju Devi took first place in the 100 meters, showcasing impressive speed. Ritu Saroj dominated the 200 meters and 400 meters, while Anshika Srivastava shone in the javelin throw. The closing ceremony was graced by former district BJP president Om Prakash Tripathi, alongside other officials who recognized the efforts of coaches and staff for their invaluable support in making the event a resounding success.
