Strategic experts predict that while areas like trade, tariffs, and immigration may see challenges, Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s established rapport will help address issues amicably. The mutual interests in economic growth and security cooperation remain robust for both nations.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar emphasized India-U.S. relations are built on a strong foundation, adaptable to shifts in U.S. administrations. He noted that the partnership has strengthened over five presidencies and is primed to grow further, regardless of political changes. Observers are optimistic about continued collaboration on trade, technology, and counter-terrorism.
