Clinical Bowling Propels Chaudhary Naunihal Singh Club to Victory in Dr. DN Tiwari Trophy

Prayagraj :  Chaudhary Naunihal Singh Club secured a dominant five-wicket victory over Zaidi Indoor Club to claim full points in the Dr. DN Tiwari Memorial Under-16 Cricket Tournament. The match, held on Wednesday at the Vishnu Bhagwan Public School ground, was defined by a masterclass in disciplined bowling and a composed run chase.

Opting to bat first, Zaidi Indoor Club struggled to find rhythm against a relentless bowling attack. Saksham Kesarwani (2/11) and Aditya Pathak (2/06) dismantled the top order with precision. Despite a fighting 36 from Piyush Mishra and 20 from Kumar Harshvardhan, Zaidi Indoor Club was restricted to 99 runs in their allotted 30 overs. Ayush and Mohammad Ali also chipped in with two wickets each to keep the pressure on.

Chaudhary Naunihal Singh Club chased down the target with clinical efficiency, reaching 101/5 in just 19.5 overs. Ayush Kumar Bind anchored the start with 20 runs, while Mohammad Ali (19*) and Hardik Narayan Tiwari (19) ensured there were no late hiccups. Although Arsh Ahmed (2/07) and Shivansh Mishra (2/14) bowled tight spells for the opposition, it wasn't enough to stop the Naunihal juggernaut.

For his exceptional opening spell, Saksham Kesarwani was adjudged the Man of the Match. The award was presented by Dr. Julie Ojha, Director of the Allahabad Cricket Association (ACA). The ceremony was also attended by ACA Director RP Bhatnagar as the Guest of Honour. Organizing Secretary Manoj Kumar and President Raju Natesan concluded the event by honoring the guests with mementos.
