Prayagraj : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Prayagraj on Saturday. He took stock of the preparations for Magh Mela. After this Mother Ganga was worshiped as per the rituals. Also had darshan and worship of Shri Bade Hanumanji situated on the banks of Sangam.

Mahant Balveer Giri was also present during the worship and Ganga worship in the temple. In the meeting regarding the preparations for the fair, fair officer Rishi Raj and other officials of the fair authority informed them about the preparations done so far through the projector. In which it was told that this time the work is going on 20 percent ahead of the previous Magh Mela.

All the pontoon bridges are almost ready. In the last Magh Mela, the work of making pontoon had not even started yet. Similarly, leveling of land and preparation of ghats is also very fast. Work is going on in full swing for lighting arrangements in the fair.

After taking stock of the preparations for Magh Mela, Chief Minister Yogi said that a total of 6 major baths will be held. The number of Kalpavasis will be large. The number of Kalpavasis will be around 30 lakh. 12 to 15 crore people will take bath in Sangam. Namami is responsible for keeping the water of Ganga pure. 85 km sewer line will be laid.

The purity of the confluence will be maintained. 25 thousand toilets and 8000 dustbins will be built. The fair will be established in 800 hectares. Two hospitals will be built for the convenience of the devotees. There will be sufficient police force to ensure the safety of the fair.
