Lucknow University Hosts New Admissions 2024
On the second day of Diksharambh, Lucknow University welcomed new students with the "Let's Bond" theme.
Lucknow: On the second day of Diksharambh at Lucknow University’s Malviya Hall, new students from the Arts, Education, and Fine Arts streams were warmly welcomed under the theme "Let's Bond" (Promote, Adapt, and Nurture Destiny). Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai inaugurated the event with traditional lamp lighting and the university anthem.
Prof. Rai congratulated the students and spoke about the smooth transition from Diksharambh to Dikshant (convocation). He encouraged exploration of the university’s rich history and unique resources, such as the Tagore Library’s rare Indian Constitution. He also urged students to thoughtfully consider their academic choices and take advantage of the diverse opportunities offered.
The Pro Vice Chancellor and deans presented details about the university’s facilities, NEP 2020 academic framework, and student support services. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and an invitation for students to engage with various university boards and services.
