Chief Secretary Highlights Emerging Tech in Transformation

Lucknow: Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Kumar Singh recently led an Executive Briefing Session on Emerging Technology and Digital Transformation at Yojana Bhawan. Organized by the Center for e-Governance, UP's IT and Electronics Department, and the Wadhwani Center for Government Digital Transformation, the session emphasized the vital role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern governance.
Singh urged departments to integrate AI to enhance efficiency and drive economic growth, stressing that falling behind in AI means lagging in overall progress. He shared insights from Zurich University’s AI innovations, including their use in monitoring road quality on the Ganga Expressway. The session highlighted AI's growing importance, with key attendees including Chairman Revenue Council Mr. Anil Kumar and Additional Chief Secretaries.
