Honoring Adheer Ji with a Soulful 'Evening of Ghazals'

Lucknow: In a grand cultural celebration, Sahityakar Sansad and Naman Prakashan, Lucknow, jointly hosted an "Honoring Ceremony" and a special event titled "An Evening of Ghazals for Adheer Ji." The program was presided over by the esteemed Shri Bholanath 'Adheer' Ji, with renowned poets and shayars from across the country presenting their works. The evening began with a soulful rendition by Dr. Shobha Dixit 'Bhavna,' whose ghazal in praise of the divine left the audience spellbound.

The event saw impressive performances, with poets like Rachna Mishra from Lucknow, Ramprakash 'Bekhud,' and Gorakhpur’s Ustad Sarwat Jamal captivating the audience with their profound verses. Ustad Jamal's ghazal, comparing the triviality of modern-day problems to lighting a matchstick, drew thunderous applause. The night was also laced with humor, as Arvind Jha's satirical poetry had everyone in fits of laughter. Adheer Ji, known for his wit, closed the event by presenting a thoughtful ghazal, demonstrating his mastery in both humor and depth.
