Shimla : In a decisive move to address unemployment and bolster community support systems, the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has rolled out a comprehensive policy package featuring major public sector recruitment drives and expanded social welfare measures across the state.

The cabinet session, chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, approved filling thousands of vacant posts across essential administrative, educational, and medical departments. A significant focus was placed on streamlining recruitment procedures to expedite candidate selection, offering critical age relaxations for local youth affected by prior hiring delays.
