Girls Encouraged to Join Animator and Web Design Courses in Prayagraj Camp
Animator and Web Design courses launched to empower school girls in Prayagraj through skill-based training for self-employment.

Prayagraj : In an initiative aimed at promoting skill development and self-reliance among school girls, a one-day motivational camp was organized at Government Women’s Physical Training College, Civil Lines, Prayagraj, under the guidance of Dr. Upasana Rani Verma, Principal of the college and executive member of Bharat Scouts and Guides.
The program was conducted as part of the ongoing Animator and Web Designer courses at the State Training Centre, Muthiganj, Prayagraj. These courses are being promoted across secondary schools in the region with the support of District School Inspector and Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts & Guides Prayagraj, P.N. Singh.
Dr. P.P. Singh, District Secretary of Bharat Scouts and Guides Prayagraj, addressed the participants and explained the course offerings. He emphasized that young boys and girls can enroll in the six-month Animator course and the eight-month Web Developer course to develop professional skills that enable self-employment opportunities. Students who have completed their intermediate (Class 12) are eligible to apply.
He highlighted that these skill-based, employment-oriented courses are being conducted free of cost or at nominal fees and are designed to prepare youth for the digital economy, especially in creative and IT-based fields.
Addressing the students, Dr. Upasana Rani Verma encouraged maximum participation of girl students in these courses to help them become financially independent and confident contributors to society. She emphasized that today’s girls must be equipped not only with traditional education but also with modern vocational and digital skills to match the demands of the 21st-century workforce.
The event witnessed the participation of hundreds of enthusiastic girl students from various schools and colleges. Many expressed interest in enrolling for the upcoming batches of the training programs. Faculty members from the college also attended and supported the motivational initiative.
This effort is part of a broader mission to bridge the digital skill gap among girls in semi-urban and rural areas and empower them through hands-on, employable training. The Bharat Scouts and Guides Prayagraj division is playing a key role in reaching out to youth and offering practical alternatives for sustainable livelihoods.
By equipping young women with skills in animation and web design, Prayagraj takes a step forward in building a self-reliant and digitally skilled generation.
