DM Reviews Development Progress, Issues Strict Directives

Prayagraj:In a crucial review meeting held at the Sangam Auditorium on Monday, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Madan assessed the progress of various construction and development projects, including the Chief Minister Dashboard initiatives. He emphasized the need for improved financial and physical progress to boost the CM Dashboard rankings. Noting the absence of key officials, the DM instructed to issue show-cause notices to the Project Manager of Rajkiya Nirman Nigam and the Executive Engineer of Housing Development. The meeting highlighted the need to enhance performance in 17 government schemes rated under categories B, C, and E for September 2024.

DM Madan expressed dissatisfaction over the limited number of applications for Family IDs by departments like Probation, Social Welfare, and Divyang Empowerment. He instructed officials to increase application numbers promptly. Furthermore, he urged timely completion of pending tasks by departments, including Social Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare, Panchayati Raj, and Industry. During the session, the DM also reviewed the urban water projects and sought updates on progress. He directed tourism officials to expedite their projects by increasing manpower and working shifts, ensuring on-time delivery of all projects, especially the parking infrastructure at Shringverpur.
